God's Love and Grace

God has been so gracious to our family. He saved Faith just over a month ago and just this last week, Dillon asked Christ to forgive him and be Lord over his life. John and I were sitting in the living room after putting the kids to bed. After about 30 minutes, Dillon came into the living room, bawling, so John asked him what was wrong. Dillon's response, "God's been talking to me, I need to be saved". Praise the Lord! Since Faith's salvation, we didn't want the "popcorn effect". We wanted Dillon's conversion to be genuine and not pressured by us or others, but truly a conviction from Christ. We prayed for Dillon as did others. God is so awesome! Dillon prayed the most precious little prayer that an 8 year old could pray, asking God to save him. We are so gracious that God gave us the opportunity to witness 2 of our children asking Him to forgive them and save them from a life of sin and darkness. We know that with them both being children, mistakes are inevitable, but with Christ's guidance, love and grace we pray that we will bring them up in a godly way, teaching and showing them the ways of Christ. Please pray for us, that we will be godly parents to our children and pray also for them as they start their Christian journey.
