Ma and Papa got Faith a riding lesson this week at a local horse farm. She LOVED it. Her horse's name was Whiskers. She got to brush it, clean it's hooves, put the saddle on, lead it and she learned the basics on riding (how to sit, hold the reins, 'steer', and stop). To say she is ready for another lesson would be an understatement. She's ready to go back tomorrow! Maybe one day we'll live near a horse farm where she can take lessons and enter into some shows.

The Boys Go Fishing
John, Dillon and my brother Brian hit the creek this week and brought home a good catch. As I type this, John, Dillon and another father/son are out in the canoe trying to bring in some more. We are hoping to have a fish fry soon! YUMMY, YUMMY!

The Princess Turns 7
Faith celebrated her birthday 'princess style'. On Saturday night, she, along with her cousins and a friend, dressed up in their Cinderella gowns and went to see the play, Cinderella. Her Aunt Debra came up to Ma's house to get her hair all fixed up in a 'princess do' and to take a few pictures.
Before going to the play, we stopped off at Dairy Queen for a little 'treat'.

After ice cream and presents, it was time to dance our way to the Plaza Theatre. The play was put on by the Glasgow High School Music and Drama Dept. They did a MAGNIFICANT job! The girls were SO excited. Faith got to try the glass slipper on during the play, but, unfortunately, it didn't fit :-( and the story continued. The girls were all very beautiful and it was truly a fairy tale night!
