We are back home in Kentucky after a LONG drive back yesterday. The slide show shows how much fun we had. I stated in the previous entry that the weather was moody, but we still had a great time. The food was wonderful, the sunsets were beautiful and the sun was awesome! Audra enjoyed her first time at the beach and splashed away in the pool. The first day was a little windy so we decided not to put her in the pool, however, we already had her crab blown up, so we just stuck her in the Audra size pool in Nana and Granddaddy's bathroom.

The guys went out on a fishing boat Wednesday. They knew they were in trouble when the captain came out with an insulated Carhartt jacket to wear and all they had was a sweatshirt to keep warm. The coolness didn't keep them from having fun though. Dillon is already expecting a certificate for fishing for Christmas from Nana and Granddaddy next year. Connie and I decided we will go along next year. . maybe help the guys pull in the "big" fish they kept telling us about that "got away" ;-)

On one of the rainy days, Nana kept Audra while John and Dillon went arcading and Faith and I went roller skating. I think we only fell down a couple of times ;-) We were pros by the time we were leaving . .look for us on the slate of participants in the Olympics! (Do they even have a roller skating entry? If not, we'll cross over to ice skating.)

Another morning we awoke to a slew of dolphins playing in the ocean right in front of the condo. I was able to snap a couple of shots. That was a neat experience.

Through the tornado warnings and the wind, the week ended up being fun-filled and we had some relaxing, warm and sunny days to offset the less desirable ones. We are definitely looking forward to going back again next year! Thanks Nana and Granddaddy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KITTY!!!
