Back to School Bash

Well, it's hard to believe that the summer is almost over and school will be starting soon. First Baptist Church McDowell hosted a Back to School Bash tonight. John manned GAP's booth while I took the kiddos around to do all the fun stuff. They had a blast! Audra was a real trooper despite the hot weather. (I took a wet washcloth to keep her cool and also a bottle of water!) Dillon and Faith both loved the BIG slide. . they raced on it. . although the picture looks like Dillon won, in reality, Faith waited for him at the top, so she truly won :-) To cool everyone off, the local Fire Dept. turned the hose on and literally drenched everyone. The kids thought this was the neatest "water park" ever!

A day at the Robinson's (Calvary's Campus)

We spent a wonderful day with the Robinson's down in Blackey, KY, last weekend. We count it a blessing to call them friends. They are such a fun family. Dillon and Faith really enjoy playing with their children (all 5, with another one on the way...yeah!!!!) Josie is getting ready for the new little guy by practicing with baby Audra. Faith and Annie "just a swinging". Thanks guys for a relaxing day with friends!

Audra is now 8 weeks old and is changing daily. There was a little 2 week old baby at church this morning and it was so tiny. I can't believe Audra was that little just 6 short weeks ago! She has been smiling at us for about a week and a half, but as soon as we would get the camera, smiling time was over. We finally succeeded this weekend in snapping the shot just in time! I think she has my dad's smile, just like Dillon did when he was a baby.
