SNOW DAYS!

Well, the kids have now been out 3 weeks from school - due to snow and ice. We FINALLY got some measurable snow this week and took full advantage. We had fun sledding last night and are heading back out again today! Survivorman...survivorkids

The kids got a snow day today, so John decided to go on a 'scouting' adventure. Manned w/ their ax and other useful tools, Dillon and Faith followed their Eagle Scout daddy up the mountain for some lessons in surviving. After a few hours I received a phone call (yes, this survivorman carries a cell phone) to come see their new shelter. So, armed w/ Audra and my camera, I headed up the mountain...not an easy feat w/ 'a baby on my hip' **is that redneck or what?**
I'm not sure who enjoyed themselves more...John or the kids...but they did do an awesome job!

Visit w/ Friends

We were able to get together w/ some great friends this last weekend. The kids had a blast playing and the adults had a great time visiting together. We miss the Robinsons :-)

Cold, Blustry Snow Days to the Warm and Sunny Days!

Like they always say, "If you don't like the weather today, stick around until tomorrow and it will change". We've gone from the cold weather a couple of weeks ago to the beautiful, sunny weather we had today. After I picked the kiddos up from school, we took advantage of the sun...Audra decided to swing while Dillon and Faith enjoyed doing their homework outside.
