John, Audra and I were blessed this last week to join our church, Fitzpatrick Baptist, along with 4 other churches on a mission trip to Hazleton, Pennsylvania. We had an awesome time getting to know and work with everyone. Audra got spoiled rotten while we were gone. She did great! She did not cry until we were halfway home from PA. . and then it was only because she was hungry.
The purpose of the trip was to put a new roof on Hazleton Community Church. The job was HUGE, but "with Christ, all things are possible". By brothers and sisters in Christ working together, the job was complete a day ahead of schedule. The local Fire and Rescue Dept. was gracious enough to help us out with the steeple.
God showed himself in so many ways during our trip. Check out the pictures at the end of the slide show of the sun/clouds and the trees. . . just BEAUTIFUL! How can one see something this awesome and not believe there is a God in Heaven?
